Academy of Certified Social Workers

  • As an Indigenous woman of color, I believe storytelling and shared experiences can be powerful tools for healing from trauma, adversity, and life’s challenges. I strive to create a safe, inclusive, and compassionate space where clients feel empowered to explore their experiences, strengthen their sense of self, and move toward healing and growth. My role as a therapist is to walk alongside clients as a supportive guide while helping them identify and work toward meaningful treatment goals.
When working with children and adolescents, I enjoy incorporating creative interventions such as art, play, music, and expressive techniques to support emotional expression, engagement, and regulation. In family sessions, I encourage caregivers to participate in these interventions as well, helping foster connection, strengthen communication, and deepen understanding within the family system. I value creating collaborative therapeutic relationships that honor each client’s lived experience, cultural identity, resilience, and individual strengths.
